Drivers Licence Mentoring Coordinator
Part Time Position | 16 hrs p/w

Drivers Licence Mentoring helps clients gain the correct driver licence, which increases self-confidence, employment prospects, a connection to society and makes for a safer community. Our coordinator helps to coordinate a support service , working alongside a team of volunteer mentors who can help clients to obtain their learners, restricted, or full driving licences, while also supporting general wellbeing.

We are looking for a new coordinator to lead the way for the programme’s redevelopment as a pilot programme in 2025! Do you or someone you know have experience in helping people from disadvantaged backgrounds? Are you able to lead volunteer teams? Do you have great organisation and communication skills? Passionate about making a difference? We would love to hear from you!

The key things:

• Recruit, train and support a team of volunteer mentors

• Process programme referrals and build relationships with key community stakeholders

• Manage programme safety policies and procedures

• Sharing the Coast Community Trust values

Ballers Night Club Overseer
Part Time Position | 3 hrs p/w

Ballers Night Club is a Friday night youth basketball programme. The purpose of the programme is to use sport as a vehicle to develop a sense of belonging, build community and prevent harm. The programme also encourages youth to be active, learn team values, develop confidence and build a positive social community supported by mentors. The role involves being responsible for overseeing Ballers Night Club on Friday nights at Whangaparaoa College and KingsWay School.

We are looking for a new awesome overseer! Do you or someone you know love making a difference in the lives of young people (13-18 yrs)? Are you able to lead volunteer teams? Passionate about youth development and sport? We would love to hear from you!

Meals & More Coordinator
Part Time Position | 5 hrs p/w

Meals & More AM provides a space for connection, support, and encouragement, specifically targeted at our street community, through a morning tea and space for wellbeing/mentoring support. Our Meals & More Community Dinner is a free meal hosted by Coast Community Trust in partnership with Love Soup. We provide a warm, hearty meal in a family-friendly environment and value the opportunity to connect and build community around the dinner table.

We are looking for a new coordinator to lead the way for our community meal gatherings in 2025! Do you or someone you know have experience in helping people from disadvantaged backgrounds? Are you able to lead volunteer teams? Do you have great organisation and communication skills? Passionate about making a difference? We would love to hear from you!

The key things:

• Leading and supporting a team of volunteers

• Coordinating weekly and monthly plans for gatherings

• Building relationships with community stakeholders and support workers

• Keeping Meals & More a safe space for everyone
